Both John and his wife Linda are having an affair with different members of their domestic staff. Linda is having cheating with the driver and John is having an affair with the housegirl. The driver is putting pressure on Linda to dump her husband but she is reluctant to divorce because of business and financial reasons. Likewise the house girl is putting pressure on John too. The games begin when husband and wife add a new dimension to their cheating ways. Roselyn and Prince are the other couple in the movie. They have a tumultuous relationship marred with bickering, physical fighting. They are both continuously complaining about each other but cannot live without each other. They too seek pleasures outside their marital home.

Is there some psychological trauma from his past that he is hiding and has not overcome? Will he ever get married?

Rita Dominic, top Nollywood actress, has turned her hand to movie producing. Rita is currently working on the first movie to be produced by her company, The Audrey Silva Company (TASC). She joins her fellow colleagues Uche Jombo and Ini Edo who have also become movie producers. The untitled movie features Rita Dominic, Jide Kosoko, Basorge Tariah Jr., Kate Henshaw-Nuttall, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Chinedu Ikedieze and Chika Chukwu. Also appearing in the movie are Femi Jacobs (Tinsel), Linda Ejiofor (Tinsel), and Kehinde Bankole (Superstory). It is expected to be released in March 2012.

Bernard (Desmond Elliot) and Ike (Joseph Benjamin) are friends and partners at BlueQuest a firm that they run together. They have a friendly rivalry when it comes to picking up girls. Ike and Bernard make a bet that if Ike sleeps with Delphine (Mona Lisa Chinda) a gorgeous divorcee that has sworn off men he will get 5 percent of Bernards’s company shares and if not he will give up 5 percent of his own shares which means that the person who wins will have a controlling share of the company. Ike enlists the help of employee Mimi (Uche Jombo) to search all the major networking sites to find Delphine so that he can conquer her and win the bet. Things are made even more difficult when Bernard throws a spanner in the works by telling Delphines’s friend Tena (Nse Ikpi Etim) that Ike is planning to bed her and that she should beware. Ike has ten days to accomplish the mission, who will win?

Google announces Afrinolly mobile application

Last month, during Google‘s Kenya conference (called G-Kenya), the Internet search giant announced the winners of its 1st Android Developers Challenge for Sub-Saharan Africa. Afrinolly, a Nigerian-developed App, was the winner of the Entertainment/Games/Media category. Developed by Nigerian digital marketing agency Fans Connect Online, Afrinolly is a mobile application that allows users to stream African entertainment bundles. Users can access African movie trailers, music videos, online comedy, celebrity gist and gossip, the latest entertainment news and other content. The app also has a Blackberry version and can be downloaded for free at www.afrinolly.com or in the Android Market.

Rita Dominic top Nollywood actress was interviewed by Chi “Starchild” Ogugua at the new Raddison Blu in Victoria Island overlooking the Lagos waterways. The always fashionable actress was dressed casually in blue jeans, and a simple backless grey top. Rita says, “I took a few steps back in terms of acting certain kinds of films more than 3 years ago. The scripts were getting so bad and most of the good producers are not shooting as much so that made it even worse. Don’t get me wrong once in a while I will see a script that is half decent and I will grab it.”

Turning Point In Pre-Production

The movie Turning Point is Executive Produced/Directed by Niyi Towolawi (CEO of HekCentrik Productions) and Co-produced by Egor Efiok (CEO of E4 PR). The project has been generating a buzz in recent months amongst people in the know within the industry that a that a Hollywood film starring Nollywood stars in leading roles is in pre-production. Set in New York, the plot of the movie explores ethnic prejudice amongst the various black communities in America (a la “Crash”) and centres around a Nigerian investment banker that bows to family pressure to abandon his American sweetheart for an arranged wife from back home.

October is Domestic violence month in the United States and it is during this month that Nollywood actress and now producer, Uche Jombo, has chosen to take her message against domestic violence to another level, with the tour of her movie Damage across the United States of America. Uche Jombo produced the movie the movie and is acting alongside some of Nollywood’s best, like Tonto Dikeh, Basorge Tariah Jr and Kalu Ikeagwu.
