@Nollywood Forever, i totally agree with you on your review. i've watched this movie, and once tht prince/princess-falling-in-love-with-a-pauper storyline came up i knew the exact outcome of the movie. i'm fed up and tired of seeing the same cheesy, unoriginal and predictable storyline tht i've seen in over 100 nollywood movies. word of advice, stay away from the movie ''throne of tears'' as it has the same predictable storyline as this one has. keep the reviews going, i'm not nigerian, but i adore reading your reviews as u strongly point out certain stereotypes, mistakes and taboo topics without any bias. =)

It is not pompous for someone to want something new, however I agree with you there is nothing new under the sun, just novel ways of expressing old idead. Nothing wrong with that.

You actually watched this several times? I don't believe you, unless you are an editor on the project it is impossible.

There are no new stories to tell. Stop being pompous. Everything is a variation of good versus evil. The question is whether or not the telling of the story is enjoyable. In a day when American made movies are "over the top" with sensationalism and "big budget" it was refreshing to see a movie that did not treat as a "spoiled child", catering to me so that I would not use my own imagination.

Further, the story tells of a difference between getting married and getting a wife. This perspective made the movie very enjoyable for me. I have seen it several times. I searching more Nigerian based movies like this one and Naked Sin. Good stories. Thanks

She was the girl in Mike's exercise class, the one that tried to run off with him at the end of the movie but then got peed off when she realised that he was broke, and then ran back to her ex who refused to let her in the house.
