Richard (Desmond Elliot) and Vivian (Oge Okoye) have been married for 5 years and despite wanting children have not managed to have any in this period. Vivian is a restless housewife that desires to go into business so that she can make big money like her friend Barbara (Halima Abubakar). Richard however is outraged that she wants to concentrate her efforts on anything other that producing a child, but eventually ends up giving into her demands and raises the upfront capital for her to open a boutique. Vivian’s greed becomes insatiable and that combined with Barbara’s bad influence threatens to rock the marriage. Nigerian Movie Nigerian Actors
*************SPOILERS*************
Why is Vivian hunting Barbara down when Barbara has made it clear that she doesn’t want to be friends with her simply because she is not earning the same kind of money as her, Is that really a friend? A friendship conditional on money? Barbara will not even let Vivian sit in the car because of her lack of “big bucks” but then as soon as she finds out Richard’s responsibilities in the bank her attitude towards Vivian completely turns around. Barbara goes as far as to persuade Vivian to play games with Richard to establish control over him and Vivian bows to the pressure of wanting to keep up with her friend.
Knowing yourself and being confident in your choices and decisions is very important for a person to stay focused in life. Vivian is easily influences and listens and takes Barbara’s advice when she tells her not to put any business profit into her joint account. Barbara manages to persuade Vivian that her husband will most probably get a second wife because she has not produced a child for him. Richard has no intention of doing this and as his wife Vivian should know this. She knows him better than her friend does so why listen to her as if she is God. Would Barbara take Vivian’s advice in the same way? I doubt it very much. Why would Vivian even want a friend like Barbara?
_____________
It gets to the stage where Vivian does not treat Richard like a husband but more like an annoying housemate. She even buys a car without consulting him. It was him stealing money from the bank that allowed her to live so extravagantly in the first place. He put his job at risk for her and she does not even have the decency to pay the money back so that he can return it.
If you really believe that the maid is sleeping with your husband, then why not throw her out instead of placing conditions on her stay? What is your loyalty to her? You owe her nothing. I see this lot in Nollywood movies and it never makes sense to me. You honestly think your husband is sleeping with one of your house help and you just keep her there? What kinda boooolsh… is that? When that whole Rebecca Loos scandal hit the Beckhams did you see her being kept on as David Beckham’s PA? Exactly!
Note about Oge Okoye, is it just me or does it look like she has had implants because her breastesses look kinda big to me in this movie?

Despite not at all pleased about the way this movie ended. I would recommend it. It was somewhat entertaining, especially Desmond. The guy should be a comedian, no matter the role he has this comic ability that he infuses into the character. We learn something in this movie about unconditional love. It is a shame because the primary relationships in the movie are conditional upon money. I was disappointed because the movie ended with Vivian using Thomas to steal her husband’s identity and the two of them colluding in a hotel room. I do not doubt that there will be a continuation. I just wish they would bring all parts of a movie out at once. This is why people resort to watching online, because they usually only put the movies out when they are complete.
After watching parts 3 and 4 I highered the rating to 65. The movie was enjoyable but very predictable and cliche. Why did they take Barbara off to jail with Vivian? Her only crime was to badly advice her friend. All that snivelling and Nneka got her man. I knew she had to be hanging around snivelling for a reason! LOL
