After losing his job George played by Kenneth Okonkwo is heavily in debt. It is 3 years that he has been unemployed and there seems to be no way out. One day one of his debtors turns up at his work and strip him naked, giving him just one week to repay the debt. That same day other debtors turn up at his house and remove his TV and radio as he doesn’t have their money to repay. After a long spell of poverty George wins a contract worth millions of naira. He and his wife Ebiere played by Omotola Jalade Ekeinde are overjoyed and in the midst of celebration he engages in a one night stand which is the beginning of a tornado of disaster.
Ekaete is 18 and has not been to secondary school in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state because her family is poor. She dreams of going to Lagos to become a housegirl. Her dreams come true when Mrs Uzomma comes to the village with promises of setting her up in the fashion business after she works for her as a housegirl for a year. Ekaete is full of hopes and dreams and does not expect what meets her in Lagos.
Deaconess Charity played by Patience Ozokwor is a devout Christian who is bringing up her daughter Sandra played by Nuella Njubigo and niece Anukika played by Rachel Okonkwo in the same vein. She is very strict to the point of being overbearing and stifling, allowing the girls no freedom. After a fellow deaconess’s daughter dies after having an abortion she becomes obsessed in making sure that her daughters do not fall prey to any temptations. This means quoting bible verses at them constantly and accusing them of falling into sin without cause. Will she drive the girls away from her with her overbearing attitude?
Nollywood Movies Review: When Jimmy played by Ramsey Noah loses his job through no fault of his own his family is plunged into poverty not even sure if they can any longer keep a roof over their heads. After endless job searching he becomes desperate. Seeing that his friend Mike is doing well as a Pastor he asks him if he can join his ministry. His wife Chioma played by Genevieve Nnaji is not happy about this telling him that is is not right for him to join the ministry considering the fact that he does not have the calling. Despite her worries he joins his friend Mike in the church business and then with the help of an old friend branches out and works towards the growth of his own ministry.

Charles Inojie plays Emeka a returnee who has just returned to his village from Costa Rica, and toppling Odinaka in terms of coming from further abroad. They are back in the village using their tall tales of living abroad and riches to woo girls and even to manipulate their families and friends.

She goes to the ball with Tony, played by Majid Michel but everything is not what it appears to be.

Kendal played by Jackie Appiah is Mr Buckman’s daughter a renowned fashion designer married to Marcus played by Eddie Nartey. They are being blackmailed by a mysterious stranger who is trying to fleece them for a second time and so are in desperate need of money. Tyler is Mr Buckman’s eldest son a lawyer who needs the money to fund his secret boyfriend. Woody is the youngest son, a struggling musician and drug addict. While they are all back at the family’s house on hearing about their fathers death they find out that there may be another heir to their father’s fortune, the child of a former maid Rosemary Nelson, Julia Buckman, played by Yvonne Nelson.
Nollywood Movie Review: Angelina played by Clarion Chukwurah lives in poverty in the village and is determined that none of her 5 daughters suffer the same fate. She is determined that all her daughters should marry rich men and rejects any suitors that come that she deems unworthy. Her daughter Stella, played by Oge Okoye brings home two different suitors which she rejects and it is only when she brings home Oscar, played by Mike Ezuruonye who has the appearance of wealth that she accepts him as her daughter’s future husband. It is when Oscar loses his wealth that Angelina starts causing big wahala.
Nollywood Movie Review: Natasha Lawson lost both of her parents at the age of 10 and her only brother is her whole world. They live together in a shack in Accra, that is until the sudden disappearance of her brother which hits her very hard considering that she has no one else to turn to. She is alone, lonely and defenceless and easy prey for vultures and predators. After she is brutally gang raped something snaps in her where she doesn’t care so much about life anymore and she becomes a thief and then hardened criminal. The girl she was died and the woman in her become comes alive. She becomes a woman with no hope, dreams or ambitions until she meets a stranger that changes her life.
While driving two friends Enyioma and Osondu played by Mike Ezuruonye and Yul Edochie come across a road accident. Enyioma exits the car to go and investigate and helps the locals retrieve a man from the wreckage which Osondu then reluctantly helps him take to the hospital in their vehicle. At the hospital they refuse to treat the dying man without a police report. Despite Enyioma not seeing the need for a police report as no crime has been comitted he agrees to their demands in order to save the man’s life. It is when he goes to get the report from the police station that the trouble really starts.
