Steve played by Vincent Opurum is a young man from a humble Eastern Nigerian background who is struggling to find work and so heads to Lagos in search of his destiny. His parents leave him with the blessing that he shall find a wife. He meets up with Bob, played by Leo Slaboh an old school pal who has hit it big in Lagos and takes him into his world. He soon finds himself working as a gigolo in order to survive as Bob does, alongside another friend Mark. They refer to themselves as Soldiers of Fortune. They take money from the “senior babes” to spend on the younger finer babes, as well as set themselves up in business, an escort service for older women. Steve ends up marrying an older woman Lizzy Douglas, played by Florence Onuma but the girlfriend of his past Rachel played by Uche Iwuji pops up to throw his cushy life into dissaray.
Jessica is desperate for her brother Kelvin played by John Dumelo to settle down. At one point she even believes that he may be gay and so sends her friend to go and seduce him in an attempt to find out either way. Her attempt is unsuccessful. Kelvin however is talking to Erica played by Nikki Samonas on Facebook, but little does he know that he is not really her that he is talking to but to her brother who is an unemployed graduate who has taken to 419 to support them.
Christy played by Mary Uche and Janet played by Evelyn Ogbili are best friends. After Christy is cheated on by her boyfriend she moves to Lagos for a fresh start. Meanwhile Janet is dating Godfrey played by Tuvi James and wants to marry him but her father has promised her to his old man boss in exchange for a flash car. Things are not looking good for Janet, will she too flee to Lagos to join Christy?
Nollywood Movies Review: Olivia played by Angela Okorie is keeping secrets from her husband Rex played by Nonso Diobi. One day she is faced with her past when one of her husband’s friends’ Stanley played by Chikere Guide recognises her. It turns out that she had been very wayward in her past and had robbed the man of 3 million, which was everything he had at that time, leaving his in abject poverty. He is now on a revenge mission and demanding 10 million, 1 million in interest for each of the 7 years that the money has been missing. Stanley threatens to reveal Olivia’s scandalous past if she does not pay up in 7 days. Will Olivia go to robbing her husband in order to save the marriage?
One day Chelsea played by Jackie Appiah loses her dad’s phone containing all of his business contacts and information. It falls into the possession of Jacob played by Ruffy Samuel Quansah who goes to return it, despite the encouragement of his friend who tried to persuade him to keep the expensive handset. After meeting him again Chelsea starts to have dreams about him and very soon they are dating. Chelsea’s dad seemed to love Jacob but will he feel the same knowing that his daughter is dating him?
Nollywood Movie Review: Osas a cougar played by Eucharia Anunobi dumps her boyfriend James after she finds out that he is about to get married to another woman. She then manages to pick up another young buck, a musician called Jay who she seems to think will marry her, oblivious to the fact that she is simply a sugar mummy to him. Lizzy, played by Uche Ogbodo has just married James but finds herself entangled with Cruz played by Jim Iyke in some elaborate twisted love hexagon (or whatever other shape that has more corners than a triangle.)
Nollywood Movie Review: Betty played by Omotola Jalade Ekeinde meets Richie played by Van Vicker in church and they begin dating and not long after are married. Although the relationship was blissful before marriage after marriage things fall apart. On their wedding night Richie falls asleep instead of making love to his new bride who comes to the bedroom adorned in sexy new lingerie. To the outside world they appear to have a perfect loving relationship however the Richie turning his back on sex with Betty becomes a pattern, so much so that Betty begins to wonder why he married her in the first place.
Twins Peter and Paul have been separated. Paul the tall confident twin stays with his mother in Nigeria to help her run the family business while Peter, the short, shy, insecure twin is sent to university in America to further his business knowledge. It was Lady Victoria’s wish that Peter return to Nigeria and take full reign of the business, however these plans are thrown into disarray when the unexpected happens and the brother’s close bond torn apart.
Ben and Anita played by Nonso Diobi and Chika Ike respectively are exes who are reunited one day by a chance meeting in a restaurant. Ben is back from a long stay in the US, while in the meantime Anita has been married and widowed. Her husband died a mysterious death and she was blamed for it by his family. She however believes that the house that she lived in with her former husband, nicknamed House of Love was to blame as ever since then no one has lived there for more than two months before a death happening under mysterious circumstances. Ben was unaware of the house’s history and puts a down payment to rent the place.
