Jealous Husband

Debbie played by Uche Jombo and her two friends Nancy and Oluchi played by Uche Nnanna and Ruby Orjiakor are runs girls on campus. They usually arrange their runs through a middleman on campus but Debbie’s desperations to make quick money for her sick father’s hospital bills drives her to the club looking for clients without that safety measure. It is while out at a club doing runs that she comes across Emeka played by Van Vicker who takes a liking to her and hires her out for the whole night. After the night is over they part ways but bump into each other another night in the same club. Emeka sees Debbie dancing with a guy and becomes insanely jealous, confronting and fighting with the guy that she is dancing with. Things develop very quickly between the two and an obsessed Emeka wants Debbie exclusively but will she be able to leave the lifestyle that she is accustomed to behind?

Tony played by Artus Frank is a recent graduate and his family in the village are very proud especially when he returns from the city looking like he is living large. The reality of the matter is that he goes to live in the city with his friend Harry played by Junior Pope, but despite applying for many jobs he cannot find anyone to hire him. It would appear that his credentials are so impressive that employers believe him to be overqualified. After much disappointment in his job search Tony gets involved in 419 and strikes it lucky. He comes back shortly afterwards to take his brother Chibuzor (Victor Okonkwo) and sister Ifeoma (Oby Udeogalanya) to join him.

Dami played by Senanu Gbedawo works for the family business and his life is being controlled by his overbearing mother who is constantly calling him and ordering him about on her whims, so much so that his girlfriend Bimbo breaks up with him. Meanwhile him mother seems more impressed with her nephew Tunji played by Tchidi Chikere who has many many girls that he plays. She wants her son to be like this as opposed to serious with one girl. She sends Dami to do business in Abuja with his cousin TJ as a chaperone to make sure that he does not get serious with any girl. The question we must ask is why?

Ebenta is a troublesome boy inside the house and out. When asked by his mother to even wash plates he deems it “women’s work” Agafo is holding Mazi hostage by demanding the use of his bicycle after seeing him place charms on another villagers land. He teams up with Ibeh and they use his bike to rent out to other children in the village. It is during this money making scheme that they meet Ebenta and Nfesha. The four children form a gang and get into all kinda of mischief causing trouble in their own houses and throughout the village, that is until Nfecha wants out. Will the boys join their friend?

Mission For Justice

A group of armed robbers played by Nadia Buari, Artus Frank, Prince David Osei, Lucky Lawson, Ruby Abodem Bothe and Lude Mawuli break into Chief Rama’s home to steal some money that they know is hiding there and end up shooting his son as both Chief and his wife (Kofi Adjorlolo and Kalsum Sinare) refuse to admit that they have hidden money in the house. It is only after their son is shot that they offer up the money to the robbers. The movie follows the robbers as they try to evade the law in an attempt to hold on to their ill gotten wealth. They are chased all over the city by the police trying to recover the stolen money.

Donald played Chidi Mokeme and his wife Emilia played by Jackie Appiah come back to Ghana from Germany to a brand new mansion built from money he sent his younger brother Ibe, played by Artus Frank. Emilia on her return suspects witchcraft in the house after spotting a tiger that Donald doesn’t see. When she visits her mother in law in the village she feels a mysterious itching and again suspects witchcraft. Back in the city she finds a dead bat and is convinced that is a deadly sign and threatens to move out, as she believes that Donald’s family are responsible. What is really going on?

Blackberry Babes is a Nollywood comedy about a group of girls played by Oge Okoye, Tonto Dikeh, Annie Macaulay that live and die for cellular technology by way of their Blackberry phones and will only date guys that they think can buy them one. These girls are obsessed with their Blackberry phones to the extent that some of them own more than one model and are desperate for a new one as soon as another model is released. Even while they are in university lectures they BBM each other. Going on a shopping date involves taking pictures on the phone of items to buy and Blackberry Messaging the pictures to the other girls for approval. Keisha played by Mary Remmy and Apolonia played bny Eniola Badmus are trying to get into the popular crowd of Blackberry owning girls but exist solely on the margins because they don’t own one. To what extent will they go to get a Blackberry smart phone and will they ever be accepted?

He even has her believing that the friend that he squats with is his houseboy. In reality it is his friend’s uncle’s house and he is broke. Charles played by Nonso Diobi is a compulsive liar and his lies extend to other girls who also become his girlfriends. He even finds himself in a clothes shop and telling a girl that he is Ray Martin a well known stylist to the stars as well as that he owns the shop. In actuality the shop also belongs to his friend’s uncle.

Nollywood Movies Review: Genevieve Nnaji plays a femme fatale called Isabella that goes by many names to many different men. She appears sweet and innocent but underneath that exterior is a steely hustler who will go to any length to make money whether its stealing diamonds, organising a hit or trafficking children’s organs. She alongside her grandfather and Archbishop Theodore played by Olu Jacobs front a children’s charity called the Wellspring foundation which they use to traffick children’s organs amidst other criminal and immoral activity.
