When our producer/directors/screenwriters do the darn thing, we should let them know. I know I sent a message to Tchidi on facebook, letting him know I enjoyed the movie. Omotola was in her element, and watching her paired up with Majid, was like a meeting of the minds. During a scene, with Catherine and Omar cuddling on a sofa, I imagined the same with scenario with a pair of amateurs, was glad that there was no shouting, no ridiculous pauses...in other words, they were A.C.T.I.N.G..feeding off of each others energy. While I was dissappointed that Catherine and Omar didn't go the route I expected, I also have to give kudos to Tchidi for not giving us a cookie cutter ending. I also think that the Dr. Orkah character would have stayed with Catherine, because he got to see her without adornment and got to hear her deepest hopes/dreams..he knew what he was falling in love with.
