He Lives In Me

Sheila played by Genevieve Nnaji is with her family during a break from school. On her return things are different at home. She constantly feels the presence of someone else around despite not being able to see anyone. It is when she begins to notice that her things are being moved around that she becomes really concerned. David Martins played by Emeka Enyiocha becomes friendly with the family and begins dating Sheila. He turns out to be the person that they bought their dream house from. Through him they learn about how both his parents were murdered in the house. A ghost Greg played by Muna Obiekwe finally reveals himself to Sheila. What could it be that he wants? It seems that he is trying to keep David from getting close to Sheila but the question is why? Is he trying to protect her from something?

Eventually Diana is persuaded to accept Damian’s proposal and wedding arrangements are made. At the same time Flobert discovers a secret about Damian that could have a devastating effect on Diana’s future.

Evelyn sells bread on the roadside. One day she gets talking to a guy who is one of her regular customers and amazes him with the brilliance of her knowledge. When he finds out that she has dropped out of school and taking JAMB due to financial difficulties it bothers him deeply. It is one day when he comes across the family being evicted by their landlord for non payment of rent that he takes action. He shoulders their burdens by finding them a new place to stay, putting Evelyn’s brother in business and claiming financial responsibility for her schooling. This man seems too good to be true, and slowly find out that he really is too good to be true.

Her mother tries to send her to her grandmother’s house but Alice is adamant that she wants to stay at home. Eventually Alice is persuaded to go to her uncle and his wife’s house as a house girl. They tell her mother that they will send her to school in the city, of course this falls apart pretty quickly as her uncle’s wife has her own plans for Alice.

From the outset of this film I was bored, but still I persevered. The fist 15 minutes was boring and confusing. We see a girl going for a job being bribed by a doorman that will not let her into the building otherwise and we see a girl accusing her mama of favouring her son over her daughter.
