We soon learn that far from Oge’s father being happy about the marriage he has actually conspired with Michael to make sure that the happy couple are separated by any means necessary.

The King of Obodare (Kenneth Okonkwo) is looking for a wife and has sent his son that he had 14years old Santos (Ken Erics) the task of doing so. Santos meets Jenny (Tonto Dikeh) when she comes looking for a job at his company. She is with her friend Amuma (Ini Edo) and he invites them both to the palace with the intention of hooking up Jenny with his father. Nick (Junior Pope) is dating Princess (Eve Esin) but she is a raging alcoholic and he is fed up with her slobbish ways. He dumps her after a party where she attempts to make a pass at the king. In a side story Johnson has proposed to Jennifer numerous times but she is not interested.

The movie tells a story about a Prince Michael who is due to be married to a girl from a rich family that his parents have picked for him but in actuality wants to marry his own choice who is a girl from a poor home. I can tell straight way that the movie is going to be boring. It starts off that way and continues that way. It is an uninspiring unoriginal below mediocre story about a prince and a pauper *YAWN* Similar to Palace Maid but even more drab. There is nothing new in this movie and nothing to evoke any sort of reaction but yawning…

Honour My Will

With their father is dying and Richard and Peace are sure to be by his bedside providing comfort in his time of need. On the contrary their wayward brother Stanley is busy entertaining random chicks and spraying bottles of Star in the bar. When his father does actually die he seems intent on making his mother’s life miserable nagging her about boosting his financial support and buying him a car. It is not long before his wrath extends to his brother and sister and the whole family unit is thrown into turmoil and disarray.

Princess Olamma lives with her father the king and their many staff. Since her mother died her father is very over protective of her as she is all that he has left; added to this the fact that she is afflicted with asthma, which makes him worry about her all the more. Once day the princess goes swimming in the nearby lake against her father’s wishes and ends up having an asthma attack in the water. She is saved by a local boy called Kasie and is determined to track him down to thank him personally for saving her life…

Patience plays Madam Gold, also known around town as the MILLENIUM LADY. She is a married woman with 2 sons and a daughter who likes the finer things in life. She belittles her husband because he is not wealthy, despite the fact that he is the one that bought her the restaurant that she runs. Her goal in life appears to be to attain riches through her daughter Sandra. She does this by accepting money and gifts from Sandra’s prospective suitors knowing full well that she has no intention of marrying her to them. It is only when she messes about with the wrong man that she is forced into cleaning up her greedy act.

Chuka lives with his mother in the city estranged for many years from his mother and brother who live in the village. The relationship between his parents ended on bad terms so when the day comes that Chuka wants to reconnect with his father, his mother is not happy about the situation at all. She does her best to dissuade him from going to the village to stay with his father, but it is all to no avail.

Steph and Winnie are sisters back from studying at Harvard in the USA to run their father’s company. Steph is the “bad egg” with her incessant drinking, smoking and waywardness. Winnie on the contrary is the favoured more sensible daughter. Samuel, the Igwe’s son has a girlfriend whom he met while studying in The States that he has brought home to introduce to his parents. He is determined to marry her, but his parents are wholly against the situation, stating that not only does she bear the unfortunate title of “osu” but that in addition her class is not befitting to their own.

Coincidence

Mary and Kingsley are childhood sweethearts. Mary’s mother is not in favour of the relationship as Mary has been promised to another man. The family are indebted to him as he put Mary through school and takes care of the family’s financial needs. Their families are virtually at war with each other and so they make the decision to keep their relationship on the down low and start meeting each other late at night when no one will see them. The relationship is short lived as a series of events follows that changes the life course of all those involved.
