This one is a story of forbidden love with a cultism and political backdrop. Both Edna (Eucharia Anunobi) and Alfred (Sam Dede) have both been promised the post of state governor by the current state governor. However they cannot both take the role and despite efforts to get them to see reason with each other neither will back down. Edna is affiliated with the Jungle Queens an all female deadly cult on campus while Alfred aligns himself with The Crocodiles a deadly male cult. The battle for the government post gets more and more gruesome with even more being at stake when the discovery is made that Sam’s son Milton (Mike Ezuruonye) and Edna’s daughter Barbara (Chioma Chukwuka) are dating and will not heed their parent’s advice to stay away from each other. How long will the battle rage and who will be the casualties?
We are presented with newspaper headlines of the religious rioting in Jos in the opening scene. We see a man is awoken by terrible nightmares about Jos being on fire. He fears for his brother Thaddeus who lives in Jos as his wife attempts to reassure him. He is not on good terms with his family which is a major concern for him at a time like this. His children Nnenna played by Chioma Chukwuka, Nnamdi played by John Dumelo and Izuchukwu played Ken Erics are in the dark about exactly why relations are strained with their extended family. With the arrival of Thaddeus in their family home it soon becomes clear where the problem started.

Evelyn sells bread on the roadside. One day she gets talking to a guy who is one of her regular customers and amazes him with the brilliance of her knowledge. When he finds out that she has dropped out of school and taking JAMB due to financial difficulties it bothers him deeply. It is one day when he comes across the family being evicted by their landlord for non payment of rent that he takes action. He shoulders their burdens by finding them a new place to stay, putting Evelyn’s brother in business and claiming financial responsibility for her schooling. This man seems too good to be true, and slowly find out that he really is too good to be true.

Susana spreads the news of Esther’s miscarriage with glee declaring her a “witch” and a “ritualist.” She curses her to the point of calling her a gold digger and skin bleacher.
