Gerald, played by Uti Nwachukwu is a philadering commitment shy executive, who is horrified when he is told that his nephew Junior will be left in his custody after his brother’s death. He worries that this development will mark the end of his social life, leaving him subject to a life of PTA meetings and cleaning nose boogers, but there is no choice as the only way out of the arrangement according to the will is if he himself dies. Under his girlfriend Ella’s (Tonto Dikeh) persistence he reluctantly takes the boy into his home, but struggling to bond with the boy hires a nanny to help him out, who is a recently sacked secretary (Uche Jombo) with a huge secret. Her presence causes his girlfriend to feel resentful.
Work shy party animal Olumide is employed as the managing director for his mother’s company, Da Costa holdings. His mother fears that he is following his reckless father’s footsteps and worries hugely about his future, as she knows that she is terminally ill and will not always be around to look after him. A charity benefit brings an ambitious young lady to Olumide’s mother’s attention. They build up a great rapport and after inviting her in for an interview she is made finance director. The company’s purse strings are tightened and lavish spenders Olumide and his calculating girlfriend Sabina start to resent the new finance director for questioning the way that they extravagantly blow the company’s money. Ably supported by a retinue of professional dancers and together, I’ll take My Chances is a magical story of dance, drama, love and intrigue. This movie is cultural fiesta that showscases the best that Nigeria and indeed Africa has to offer and it is all beautifully woven in this movie. Parts of the movie were shot in Lagos as well as scenic areas in Cross River and Akwa Ibom state. Directing was done by Desmond Elliot, and the screenplay was written by Kehinde Joseph, Uduak Oguamanam & Bola Aduwo.

Doctor and patient grow very close to the point where they are soon involved in a torrid love affair. Halle Davis played by Ini Edo is an out of work desperate for work actress who goes on audition after audition and ends up landing a lead role after claiming her fiancé is Banky and with the promise that the will bankroll the whole movie. How will she get herself out of the big mess and web of lies she has entangled herself in?
