Sandra played by Tonto Dikeh gets caught up in a big mix up after the events of just one regretful night with another man. Her actions threaten to jeopardise her relationship with the love of her life Bob (Nonso Diobi) and she will do anything to keep him. Juliet her friend, played by Yvonne Nelson is also having man troubles after being reunited with her first love. Her problem is his wife and how she can make him all hers.

On the contrary their wayward brother Stanley is busy entertaining random chicks and spraying bottles of Star in the bar. When his father does actually die he seems intent on making his mother’s life miserable nagging her about boosting his financial support and buying him a car. It is not long before his wrath extends to his brother and sister and the whole family unit is thrown into turmoil and disarray.

She is a married woman with 2 sons and a daughter who likes the finer things in life. She belittles her husband because he is not wealthy, despite the fact that he is the one that bought her the restaurant that she runs. Her goal in life appears to be to attain riches through her daughter Sandra. She does this by accepting money and gifts from Sandra’s prospective suitors knowing full well that she has no intention of marrying her to them. It is only when she messes about with the wrong man that she is forced into cleaning up her greedy act.

The part 1 on My Last Ambition covers most of part 2 of TMW and even goes on to part 3. I then went to put the next disc in, to discover that the new footage starts off 11 minutes and 30 seconds into the part 2. WHAT? This is SHOCKING! More than half of this new movie is REPETITION and it gets worse!

Eucharia Anunobi is Mrs Daniels, the meddling mother of Juliet and the mother in law of Desmond. She comes and goes within her daughter’s home as she pleases demanding attention at will and picking on Juliet’s husband for the sins that were committed against her by her own husband. Juliet’s concerns are not just kept in the home and she even tells her friend that her mother is causing unrest in her home but picking on both her and her husband.

Even when the man is at risk of being killed and has a gun to his head he still refuses to tell the robbers where the money is. Is money more important than your family’s life? Even when he hears one of the robbers telling another that the informant has given reliable information that there is 200,000 in the house the man is still resistant. Of course in the end the robbers get their hands on the loot and the man gets to keep his life.

She experiences a different type of life when she goes to university in Lagos as a Yoruba language student. Suliat quickly learns that the respect afforded her in her village is completely non existent in the city. Instead of commanding respect she is disrespected and mocked at every turn for her razz village ways.

We learn that since her mother, who employed the servants died she has been alone with only the servants in the house. We also learn that she has sickle cell anaemia and may be soon to die, hence the reason for the pay off to the house staff. Olivia claims to want to do “something else” with her life, not feeling fulfilled with her current state.

Thompson has bitterness in his heart after finding out that his mother had her subsequent children with men other than his father, and as such despises his mother, brother and sister. His main aim is to kill off his grandfather and acquire his wealth. He employs the help of a “fake nurse” to do this.
