Charles played by Kenneth Okonkwo is a football coach leading his team into a big tournament. He has cancer, a fact that he has hid from his family. He has recently found out that his kidney is free from cancer leaving him able to donate it to his brother Franklin who is in dire need of it. His wife Chidi played by Mercy Johnson is vehemently against his choice fearing that he may lose his life in the process.

A maid in the palace inadvertently finds out about the shenanigans in the palace and is compelled to confess to the prince. The outcome brings on a whirlwind of consequences.

He fears for his brother Thaddeus who lives in Jos as his wife attempts to reassure him. He is not on good terms with his family which is a major concern for him at a time like this. His children Nnenna played by Chioma Chukwuka, Nnamdi played by John Dumelo and Izuchukwu played Ken Erics are in the dark about exactly why relations are strained with their extended family. With the arrival of Thaddeus in their family home it soon becomes clear where the problem started.

Little does he know that the one he chats to on the internet called Miss Spiffy was not in the hotel room that day but rather the maid Gina, played by Mercy Johnson who was trying on her clothes. They end up going on a date together and so starts the web of deceit.

He brings a new girlfriend Christine played by Mercy Johnson that he wants to marry to his family and they shun her. His mother in particular is very upset with his. We find out that he was excommunicated but the full extent of what transpired is not revealed until Christine’s cousin Cheta introduces her to her best friend Ifunanya. In Ifunanya’s story we find out exactly why Sylvester was excommunicated and why his mother is so filled with shame. Hezekiah played by Nkem Owoh is a catechist in the parish and is super protective over his youngest daughter since his eldest daughter Ifunanya was raped by someone trusted in the community.

Nonye played by Jackie Appiah is from a poor background and when her mother dies she resorts to runs to put herself and her younger brothers through school.Six years after first resorting to turning tricks things are looking good. Her brother Ugo has just finished his NYSC, her other brother is in school and they are all living together comfortably until fate strikes. Jackie goes to see one of her clients and arrives just after he has been shot dead. The police come and find her there just after she has arrived and take her in on suspicion of murder. It is by luck that she is released on a cleaner’s eyewitness testimony and all is well again, that is until her brother Ugo brings home the girl he wants to marry, a runs girl that Nonye knows from the scene. She wants to speak up and warn him but to do so will be revealing her own past.
