The story revolves around Clara’s deceptive exploits with the two main men in her life, Desmond and Chief Frederick. Desmond is her jobless boyfriend and Chief Frederick is the one that funds her extravagant lifestyle. She has been advised by Jane to drop one of them before the situation gets out of hand but she insists that she needs both men to survive.

Richie thought that his fiancée Yvonne was the love of his life that is until he discovered that she was having an affair with his boss. Unable to face reality he flees to his brother’s home and spends his nights drinking himself into a stupor at various bars. It is on the way home from a bar that he meets Shakira. It is a dark night and she throws herself in front of his car and orders him to drive. His involvement with Shakira turns into something much more dramatic than he could have ever imagined.

Bube and Weyinmi played by Van and Stephanie have been together for seven years and are living together as an unmarried couple. Childhood friends Pape, Koby and Rashid, now married have made an outing every Friday Night, a tradition in their lives, even though their wives try to talk them out if it. What they do at these outings is “unimaginable”. Koby has a grudge that he must settle with Pape so he honours a deal with a notorios pimp Jake the Shadow to get one of his whores Missy in trouble to get back at Pape. Missy on the other hand wasnt to buy back her freedom, like her friend Debra in order to pursue a singing career, but Jake has a plan in motion.

Mabel is Paulicap’s down trodden and long suffering wife. She has been with him for 15 years and they share a son, but this is not enough to keep him from hitting on every pretty lady in town. His wife catches him at a hotel on different occasions emerging from rooms with a different lady each time. She has been humiliated and disgraced by her husband, at the end of her tether she know longer knows what to do with herself. She spends her time crying, and praying about the situation, hoping that Paulicap will change.

Desmond and Juliet are a born again married couple. Eucharia Anunobi is Mrs Daniels, the meddling mother of Juliet and the mother in law of Desmond. She comes and goes within her daughter’s home as she pleases demanding attention at will and picking on Juliet’s husband for the sins that were committed against her by her own husband. Juliet’s concerns are not just kept in the home and she even tells her friend that her mother is causing unrest in her home but picking on both her and her husband.

Deji is trying to persuade Amaka, his mistress to become his second wife. We see the adverse effect his extra marital liasions are having on his home. Amaka refuses to stop seeing Deji and his wife is willing to do anything within her power to stop the affair.

Woman works as a maid and is “let go” when her oga’s wife leaves him, after he refuses to take an impotence test to determine why they have not had any children. The maid is unemployed and her oga is drowning himself in self pity. It is only when he sees his wife out of the street pregnant and in another man’s arms that he decides to rehire the maid. His main concern is that publicly he will become an object of derision, so his plan to rehire the maid holds a more sinister motive. He wants to impregnate her to prove his “manliness.”

Mercy plays Loveth, a wayward wife that cheats while her husband is out of the country on business. Chiege plays Sylvia a repeat husband snatcher, while Henry Opara plays Benson, someone who appears to be and upstanding member of the church but who in fact has a plot which is less than ethical. He seduces another member of the congregation, who is an “old cargo” desperate for marriage. He promises her a life partnership, but in fact plans to bleed her dry financially without ever actually making it up the altar.

Tracey and Nnamdi were born on the same day to parents that are very close friends. Their parents promised each other when they were babies that they would be married in the future. During university they become engaged to be married. Inseparable from childhood Nnamdi promises Tracey that they will marry after graduation and complteting Youth Service.
