Ene (Angela Okorie) and Frieda (Mercy Johnson) are best friends who have fallen out. In the meantime Frieda seduces her Ene’s boyfriend who is a government official. This causes an even huger rift in the friendship, with two teams of friends posted against each other, which causes all and out war with each team trying to get the better of the other.
Mercy works for her mother’s company as do Angel and Irene. Mercy carries herself with class. A trait instilled in her by her mother. She always commands respect and refuses to be a plaything for men. The friends that she works with however are not so virtuous. Mercy takes exception with the way that Irene manipulates her lovers into financially supporting her; seeing it as immoral and deceptive. Irene feels judged and lashes back that she is simply surviving as she does not have a family to help her out when times are hard like Mercy does. Angel is more reserved but similar to Irene comes from an underprivileged background with a younger brother to support through university so when the chance comes to embark on an affair with Mercy’s father she does not hesitate to take the chance. Even while they are in university lectures they BBM each other. Going on a shopping date involves taking pictures on the phone of items to buy and Blackberry Messaging the pictures to the other girls for approval. Keisha played by Mary Remmy and Apolonia played bny Eniola Badmus are trying to get into the popular crowd of Blackberry owning girls but exist solely on the margins because they don’t own one. To what extent will they go to get a Blackberry smart phone and will they ever be accepted?
Ken played by Muna Obiekwe is the biggest gigolo in town and the toy boy of Mrs Flora Peters, wife of a prominent governor. Pandora played by tonto Dikeh is the apple of her father’s eye but when he brings home a new wife, Florence Pandora fears that the new woman may come between them. However she soon beomes distracted by the likes of Ken whom she spots at a night club and immediately takes a liking to.
