Ann is due to get married to David and her whole family appear to be happy about it except her brother Mike who accuses her of squandering his inheritance on a “man in the city” He says this because she sold some of her father’s property to help David set up in business. We soon learn that far from Oge’s father being happy about the marriage he has actually conspired with Michael to make sure that the happy couple are separated by any means necessary.

After Ben’s father dies he and his mother approach Chief George his uncle for his father’s shares in the family company so that he can continue his studies abroad. His uncle refuses but then in the same breath answer’s the phone in their presence to grant his son the sum of £6000 for his accommodation in the UK. He claims that his stinginess towards his nephew is borne out of a desire to turn him into a “real man.”

Heal My Soul

Chidi played by Jim Iyke is the wayward son that keeps on bringing his home into disrepute with his area boy ways despite his privileged background. His father Obasi has had enough and ends up throwing him out of the house, telling him return back to school. His mother on the other hand ends up feeling sorry for her son and allows him to go and stay with her sister, his aunt until school resumes without her husband’s knowledge. He is reluctant to go even there but has no choice. His mother wishes that she never sent him there when she finds out that Chidi has been locked up for attempting to rape his cousin. Will this guy ever be reformed?

Chukwudi lives in the city but his mother has a village girl ready for him to marry called Adaugo so she is not at all happy when she finds out that he is engaged to a city girl, Calista. Chukwudi under pressure from his mother to come home and meet Adaugo and marry her decides to move his wedding to Calista forward and decides to bring her to the village to meet his family. Calista is excited at the prospect of meeting her future mother in law and can talk of nothing else beforehand. The feeling, however is not mutual and on introduction the pair get off to a rocky start. Can Calista win over her future mother in law?

Holy Cross

Cross is the Capone of THE SKELETONS, a secret cult on campus. Mike is a hardworking boy from a rich home whose sole aim at university is to educate himself and become a productive member of society in his own right. One day at a restaurant he falls into a trap set up by Cross to search for new recruits. It is set up for Cross’ sister Monica to be verbally attacked publicly in the restaurant by another cult member. Mike shows his bravery by defending Cynthia and Cross is impressed by his steadfastness and courage and is determined to recruit him into the group by any means necessary. The influence of The Skeletons reaches great lengths and into the higher echelons of society and after Mike’s family is threatened he succumbs to the pressure of joining the cult. From here the events that take place spiral rotate his life into a completely different direction.

Ernie and Kodili are best friends and as close as brothers but their mothers hate each other and because of this show pure disdain for each other’s sons despite the love their son’s have for one another. It all began when Ernie’s mother married his father. Kodili’s mother claimed that Ernie’s mother had snatched her man and married him. She blames Ernie’s mother for her condition in life. She is resentful that she married a poor man and remained in the village in poverty, while Ernie’s mother, due to marrying a wealthy man had the benefit of an educated and well travelled son to shower her with gifts on his visits home. Their sons are grown and decades have passed but the feud between the two women continues and ultimately tears both families apart.

Mirabelle (Ini Edo) and her two friends Empress and Vivian are hot girls on campus. They have plenty of men and money at their disposal. When Mirabelle spots Lanre, a new student on campus she falls for him almost immediately and decides to make a move. She is used to getting what she wants and so she is perturbed when a mystery girl interrupts her getting close to Lanre not once but twice. One night at a club while she is talking to Lanre the mystery girl interrupts their conversation and drags him away to go and meet someone. Mira flips and later on when she sees the girl headed towards the ladies she decides to follow her and confront her. What happens next turns her world upside down.

Despite having never married Zelda believes that even at 67 she can still find love. Zelda on the other hand has given up hope. She regrets not having had children and believes that a woman of a certain age does need people around to assist with certain things. In light of this she invites her sister’s son from the village to come and stay with her.
