The story revolves around Clara’s deceptive exploits with the two main men in her life, Desmond and Chief Frederick. Desmond is her jobless boyfriend and Chief Frederick is the one that funds her extravagant lifestyle. She has been advised by Jane to drop one of them before the situation gets out of hand but she insists that she needs both men to survive.

Jane is desperate to have a baby and believes that if she acts like she is already with child she will “take in.” She buys baby clothes and in her room she has a dolly in a cradle that she rocks on a daily basis as if it is a real child. Even her husband is so used to the charade that he plays along with her. Will Jane ever get the baby she so craves?

In one scene we see the girls go and pick up a guy from the poolside and take him back to their apartment. As they walk into the apartment with the guy Maureen in hiding behind the door, lunges out stabs and kills the man. I couldn’t even begin to tell you why…

With their father is dying and Richard and Peace are sure to be by his bedside providing comfort in his time of need. On the contrary their wayward brother Stanley is busy entertaining random chicks and spraying bottles of Star in the bar. When his father does actually die he seems intent on making his mother’s life miserable nagging her about boosting his financial support and buying him a car. It is not long before his wrath extends to his brother and sister and the whole family unit is thrown into turmoil and disarray.

Ernest and Theresa are madly in love, engaged and about to be married. During their engagement they find out that they both possess the AS genotype which means that if they have children there is the chance that they could be a sickler. They are told in no uncertain terms by Ernest’s father that they must stop seeing each other as the health of their future children is of greater importance than the love that they share.

Chief Sarpong is married with two sons and a daughter. At the very beginning we see him getting caught cheating with his secretary by his wife. We find out that not long after Chief is caught having the affair his wife dies. He then remarries only two months later. When his sons return home from abroad all hell breaks loose as they take out their anger on their stepmother and sister.
