Tamuno is in love with a jobless rasta that she met at university called Bruno, but is betrothed to Akan, somebody that her parents consider decent, successful and respectable. She is not in love with Akan but nevertheless plans on marrying him to please her parents, and not get cut off from them financially as they have threatened should she jeopardise her relationship with Akan. The wedding is planned but two days before the wedding Tamuno gets cold feet and runs of to elope with Bruno leaving her friend Tonye to break the news to him.

We learn that since her mother, who employed the servants died she has been alone with only the servants in the house. We also learn that she has sickle cell anaemia and may be soon to die, hence the reason for the pay off to the house staff. Olivia claims to want to do “something else” with her life, not feeling fulfilled with her current state.

The basic premise is that a guy called Kofi played by Ofori meets a girl called Abena played by White over the telephone by calling a wrong number. They fall in love and start a telephone relationship. Her roommate Adwoa played by Appiah is jealous of her “perfect” (scoff scoff) relationship with this telephone guy and tries to muscle in and snatch him away.
