The story revolves around Clara’s deceptive exploits with the two main men in her life, Desmond and Chief Frederick. Desmond is her jobless boyfriend and Chief Frederick is the one that funds her extravagant lifestyle. She has been advised by Jane to drop one of them before the situation gets out of hand but she insists that she needs both men to survive.

With their father is dying and Richard and Peace are sure to be by his bedside providing comfort in his time of need. On the contrary their wayward brother Stanley is busy entertaining random chicks and spraying bottles of Star in the bar. When his father does actually die he seems intent on making his mother’s life miserable nagging her about boosting his financial support and buying him a car. It is not long before his wrath extends to his brother and sister and the whole family unit is thrown into turmoil and disarray.

Patience plays Madam Gold, also known around town as the MILLENIUM LADY. She is a married woman with 2 sons and a daughter who likes the finer things in life. She belittles her husband because he is not wealthy, despite the fact that he is the one that bought her the restaurant that she runs. Her goal in life appears to be to attain riches through her daughter Sandra. She does this by accepting money and gifts from Sandra’s prospective suitors knowing full well that she has no intention of marrying her to them. It is only when she messes about with the wrong man that she is forced into cleaning up her greedy act.

This is unbelievable. I put in the part one and it is stuff I have watched already! WTH? The part 1 on My Last Ambition covers most of part 2 of TMW and even goes on to part 3. I then went to put the next disc in, to discover that the new footage starts off 11 minutes and 30 seconds into the part 2. WHAT? This is SHOCKING! More than half of this new movie is REPETITION and it gets worse!

Madam Juwase has two daughters. The eldest daughter Jane, is in love with Nick, a radio mechanic that she wants to marry. Her sister supports her decision to marry for love and they both try and convince their mother that Nick is a good man. Their mother is not interested in her daughter marrying Nick at all as she sees his status as being lowly. Even though he is an engineering graduate Madam looks down on him, declaring him unworthy. Jane soon gets pregnant for Nick, and since they are not allowed marry, she sees no other choice for herself but to have an abortion, against both Nick and the Doctor’s advice…

The film opens with a couple being attacked inside their home by armed robbers. Even when the man is at risk of being killed and has a gun to his head he still refuses to tell the robbers where the money is. Is money more important than your family’s life? Even when he hears one of the robbers telling another that the informant has given reliable information that there is 200,000 in the house the man is still resistant. Of course in the end the robbers get their hands on the loot and the man gets to keep his life.

Suliat is a razz village girl who has remained in her village her whole life. She experiences a different type of life when she goes to university in Lagos as a Yoruba language student. Suliat quickly learns that the respect afforded her in her village is completely non existent in the city. Instead of commanding respect she is disrespected and mocked at every turn for her razz village ways.

Igwe and his wife treat their driver like trash berating him for every action that he makes. He is afforded NO respect at all. After much abuse and humiliation the driver reaches the end of his tether and on this way to taking the Igwe’s daughter to school decides to go off track. This is pay back. He wants revenge and this is the only way he can think to get back at the Igwe and his wife.

Fred has delusions of grandeur and has taken to calling himself “Big Fredo.” The only thing big about Fred are his lies. Fredo uses a story about having come from the city and having a container lost on the high seas to seduce many many girls in the village. He promises them that when his container arrives he will bath them in riches and amazingly they pretty much all fall for it.

Chief Titus is Linda’s mugu. He spends an extortionate amount of money on her trivial expenses but neglect his own immediate family in times of need. Linda sees that the money appears to be limitless and also the fact that he keeps it all in his house and not a bank and decides to set him up.
