Terror and Tears

This one is a story of forbidden love with a cultism and political backdrop. Both Edna (Eucharia Anunobi) and Alfred (Sam Dede) have both been promised the post of state governor by the current state governor. However they cannot both take the role and despite efforts to get them to see reason with each other neither will back down. Edna is affiliated with the Jungle Queens an all female deadly cult on campus while Alfred aligns himself with The Crocodiles a deadly male cult. The battle for the government post gets more and more gruesome with even more being at stake when the discovery is made that Sam’s son Milton (Mike Ezuruonye) and Edna’s daughter Barbara (Chioma Chukwuka) are dating and will not heed their parent’s advice to stay away from each other. How long will the battle rage and who will be the casualties?

Kenny has been instructed to kill his wife Nneka played by Mercy Johnson and Frank is busy sleeping with some Princess played by KLinda Chinyere from “the other side” while he and Duncan fight over any money neither of them can claim ownership of.

Nollywood Movie Review: Angelina played by Clarion Chukwurah lives in poverty in the village and is determined that none of her 5 daughters suffer the same fate. She is determined that all her daughters should marry rich men and rejects any suitors that come that she deems unworthy. Her daughter Stella, played by Oge Okoye brings home two different suitors which she rejects and it is only when she brings home Oscar, played by Mike Ezuruonye who has the appearance of wealth that she accepts him as her daughter’s future husband. It is when Oscar loses his wealth that Angelina starts causing big wahala.

Innocent Pain

While driving two friends Enyioma and Osondu played by Mike Ezuruonye and Yul Edochie come across a road accident. Enyioma exits the car to go and investigate and helps the locals retrieve a man from the wreckage which Osondu then reluctantly helps him take to the hospital in their vehicle. At the hospital they refuse to treat the dying man without a police report. Despite Enyioma not seeing the need for a police report as no crime has been comitted he agrees to their demands in order to save the man’s life. It is when he goes to get the report from the police station that the trouble really starts.

Mr Phillips played by Chiwetalu Agu is the school teacher responsible for awarding a much coveted scholarship to study at a university in the UK. Teddy is the brightest boy in his class but it looks like Mr Phillips is going to fix it so that another student, Victor who is a failing receives the scholarship instead. This is because he has a relationship with Victor’s parents and has been receiving money from them. Mr Phillips provides Victor with a cheat sheet to copy from in the examination room to ensure that the plan does not fail. We get to see what exactly the consequences are when exactly that happens.

Desperate Game

Nollywood Nigerian & Ghanaian Movie – Christabel (Annie Macaulay) has just got married to Jerry (Nash Alexis Smith) but also has a lover called Kushmond (Mike Ezuruonye), who has a girlfriend called Zeta (Jme Orighoye). Christabel even rendezvous with Jerry on her wedding night when she believes that her husband has gone out on work business. In reality he too is cheating on her and actually goes to see his mistress Silver (Millicent Mugadu Wambui). The happenings on this night set off a chain of unfortunate events. Jerry is caught in the hotel room with his mistress by her boyfriend and a fight ensues where Jerry accidently kills him and ends up in prison. Christabel does not know what has happened to Jerry and so sets up home with Kush. Jerry is pretty much forgotten until there is a knock on the front door 4 years later. Everybody is hiding secrets from the other but little do they know that there is someone that knows everything. Will all their secrets be exposed?

A Cry For Justice

Nonye played by Jackie Appiah is from a poor background and when her mother dies she resorts to runs to put herself and her younger brothers through school.Six years after first resorting to turning tricks things are looking good. Her brother Ugo has just finished his NYSC, her other brother is in school and they are all living together comfortably until fate strikes. Jackie goes to see one of her clients and arrives just after he has been shot dead. The police come and find her there just after she has arrived and take her in on suspicion of murder. It is by luck that she is released on a cleaner’s eyewitness testimony and all is well again, that is until her brother Ugo brings home the girl he wants to marry, a runs girl that Nonye knows from the scene. She wants to speak up and warn him but to do so will be revealing her own past.
