Mirabelle, Ima and Anette played by Tonto Dikeh, Oge Okoye and Mary Remmy are in competition over who has the most expensive and up to date designer clothes. Not only this but Ima is competing in a Miss Fashion contest and will seemingly go to any length to covet the title. Ima is the most braggadocious of the group cooking up elaborate stories of meetings with Calvin Klein people and trips to Harrods in London all the while stealing her roommate’s clothes to parade at the happening parties that she attends. The question is how far will these girls go to outdo each other?
Sheila played by Genevieve Nnaji is with her family during a break from school. On her return things are different at home. She constantly feels the presence of someone else around despite not being able to see anyone. It is when she begins to notice that her things are being moved around that she becomes really concerned. David Martins played by Emeka Enyiocha becomes friendly with the family and begins dating Sheila. He turns out to be the person that they bought their dream house from. Through him they learn about how both his parents were murdered in the house. A ghost Greg played by Muna Obiekwe finally reveals himself to Sheila. What could it be that he wants? It seems that he is trying to keep David from getting close to Sheila but the question is why? Is he trying to protect her from something?
Ebenta is a troublesome boy inside the house and out. When asked by his mother to even wash plates he deems it “women’s work” Agafo is holding Mazi hostage by demanding the use of his bicycle after seeing him place charms on another villagers land. He teams up with Ibeh and they use his bike to rent out to other children in the village. It is during this money making scheme that they meet Ebenta and Nfesha. The four children form a gang and get into all kinda of mischief causing trouble in their own houses and throughout the village, that is until Nfecha wants out. Will the boys join their friend?
Blackberry Babes is a Nollywood comedy about a group of girls played by Oge Okoye, Tonto Dikeh, Annie Macaulay that live and die for cellular technology by way of their Blackberry phones and will only date guys that they think can buy them one. These girls are obsessed with their Blackberry phones to the extent that some of them own more than one model and are desperate for a new one as soon as another model is released. Even while they are in university lectures they BBM each other. Going on a shopping date involves taking pictures on the phone of items to buy and Blackberry Messaging the pictures to the other girls for approval. Keisha played by Mary Remmy and Apolonia played bny Eniola Badmus are trying to get into the popular crowd of Blackberry owning girls but exist solely on the margins because they don’t own one. To what extent will they go to get a Blackberry smart phone and will they ever be accepted?
Cassandra (Cassie) played by Mercy Johnson is back in Nigeria after spending 10 years in Italy as a prostitute and in prison. She returns to confront Spencer, played by Muna Obiekwe her ex boyfriend the one who put her in the situation she was in. He is about to get married to his fiancée Bianca but Cassandra wants him to be hers and by all costs. If he doesn’t want her she will go to all levels to exact her revenge upon him.
Ken played by Muna Obiekwe is the biggest gigolo in town and the toy boy of Mrs Flora Peters, wife of a prominent governor. Pandora played by tonto Dikeh is the apple of her father’s eye but when he brings home a new wife, Florence Pandora fears that the new woman may come between them. However she soon beomes distracted by the likes of Ken whom she spots at a night club and immediately takes a liking to. Even when she finds out that he only pursues older women she still pursues him, determined to make him her own. On finding out that Ken is seeing her Aunt Flora she sets out to destroy the relationship and initiate him into her way of life.
Whitney, played by Tonto Dikeh is married to businessman Charles, played by John Dumelo and they have one son. Throughout the course of their marriage she has had to put up with his cheating ways. It is only when long lost friend Alex, played by Muna Obiekwe comes into his life that his philandering ways appear to end. Whitney believing that Alex is a calming influence on her husband allows him to move into their home. Little does she know that Alex is taking advantage of her husband in the worse way.
The Yoruban Princess of Ijekuta and an Ibo boy fall in love. In fact it is love at first sight.
