Lola, played by Omoni Oboli is a free spirit who is fed up of her parents constantly comparing her to her late sister Kemi. There is great fiction in their household because of this. Ngozi, played by Stella Damasus is a student who is struggling to support her mother and younger siblings. Her friend persuades her into joining her in town doing runs. She also embarks on a mission to exert revenge on the person that plunged her previously wealthy household into poverty. A teenage girl played by Sylvia Oluchy is being abused by her uncle.
We are presented with newspaper headlines of the religious rioting in Jos in the opening scene. We see a man is awoken by terrible nightmares about Jos being on fire. He fears for his brother Thaddeus who lives in Jos as his wife attempts to reassure him. He is not on good terms with his family which is a major concern for him at a time like this. His children Nnenna played by Chioma Chukwuka, Nnamdi played by John Dumelo and Izuchukwu played Ken Erics are in the dark about exactly why relations are strained with their extended family. With the arrival of Thaddeus in their family home it soon becomes clear where the problem started.
From the outside looking in Alex played by Ramsey Noah and Gina played by Omotola Jalade Ekeinde appear to have a great marriage. Both are successful within their own rights and living a great lifestyle, however beneath the charade lies insecurity, bullying and physical abuse. Alex is constantly berating his wife and accusing her of cheating on him despite no evidence to support his claims. One night on an evening out her dumps her on a dark and lonely road in one of his aggressive rages. She is honestly scared for her life when a lone car pulls up by her side. It turns out to be Alex who then orders her into the car. It is all part of his controlling mind games, but how far will he go and how far will she be pushed by him?

While driving two friends Enyioma and Osondu played by Mike Ezuruonye and Yul Edochie come across a road accident. Enyioma exits the car to go and investigate and helps the locals retrieve a man from the wreckage which Osondu then reluctantly helps him take to the hospital in their vehicle. At the hospital they refuse to treat the dying man without a police report. Despite Enyioma not seeing the need for a police report as no crime has been comitted he agrees to their demands in order to save the man’s life. It is when he goes to get the report from the police station that the trouble really starts.

Their father dies and they return to Nigeria to handle family business and attend his burial after having lived most of their lives in the United States of America. As soon as they arrive back they give their Aunt Susan with whom they are staying hell. They are rude and obnoxious and this behaviour is turned up even more when they find out that their aunt is going to be in charge of their inheritance until they turn 25.

Bright feels afflicted and vows to “test drive” Stella, played by Ufuoma Ejenobor by any means necessary. Will he get to carry out his vow?
