This movie tells the tale of different girl’s and their lives in prostitution. The girls live in a huge house with Madam Joy who “arranges” rich and influential men for them. We see the story surrounding each girl and how they fell into the game as well as the consequences suffered as a result of the lifestyle.

Ernie and Kodili are best friends and as close as brothers but their mothers hate each other and because of this show pure disdain for each other’s sons despite the love their son’s have for one another. It all began when Ernie’s mother married his father. Kodili’s mother claimed that Ernie’s mother had snatched her man and married him. She blames Ernie’s mother for her condition in life. Despite having never married Zelda believes that even at 67 she can still find love. Zelda on the other hand has given up hope. She regrets not having had children and believes that a woman of a certain age does need people around to assist with certain things. In light of this she invites her sister’s son from the village to come and stay with her.
